The environmental division of Griggs & Maloney comprises geologists, biologists, environmental scientists, and environmental specialists. The areas of expertise include Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s), soil and groundwater investigations for Superfund, and RCRA sites; environmental site remediation, treatment, disposal, corrective action planning and implementation; Underground Storage Tank (UST) assessments/remediation including tank tightness testing, removal and closure; environmental regulations; industrial environmental audits; asbestos inspection and abatement activities; hazardous waste stream characterization and management; aquatic and terrestrial biological studies.

Industrial Clients:

We can help with environmental assessments and compliance audits; contaminated media treatment and disposal; hazardous waste management/disposal; underground and aboveground storage tank removal/closure/management; groundwater and soil investigations; bioremediation; environmental impact statements; water quality data acquisition/interpretation; fish kill investigations; bio-monitoring programs; bioassay studies and population studies and mine and quarry permitting. Our environmental staff has experience in Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) compliance and OSHA environmental evaluations. Each G&M environmental staff member is 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) trained and certified.

Municipal Clients:

Our staff can offer a wide range of experience in property transaction Phase I, II and III environmental assessment; underground storage tank (UST) investigations, removal/closure, and remediation, and UST Corrective Action Plan Preparation.
